Oh... looks like the Third-year was the traitor and she got played in her own game by Saotome as expected of her but she had to doubt her friends for that. All three of them are great friends.

That big guy and his dreams got shattered and that post-credit scene was so awkward. LOL

Lol those guys will probably remember that dinner date for a while, I bet those girls were enjoying their meal though.

I am not surprised Inui was the traitor but seeing Tsuzura and Togakushi putting themselves in risk like that was nice. It was fun to see the reactions of the guys when things didn't go according to plan, Musubi must be regretting not going for Tsuzura so hard.

I also did not understand the first "trick" where she moved the position on the card by one. I mean ... the boys still could not have known before - since everyone had to hand over their cards (where the boys marked from which girl they would accept a confession) before the confessions where made.

I guess the issue is that they didn't translate the names on the cards when they were shown on the screen so we can compare, like the manga did.

Here's how it went in the first round: Our gyaru Kurume confessed first because she thought she was number one. But she was actually registered as number two. So Yukimi went next, thinking that the boys circling their cards were guessing if she was going to confess to one of them or not, but the truth was, it was actually Kurume's turn, and the boys had already heard her confession. And so on. Of course, this trick doesn't allow them to guess who the real number one would choose, since she would actually go last... but the number one as the traitor, so all she had to do was communicate them her choice. Juraku gave a number of options for that, and she did the same thing for the second round.

And all the while Juraku's little pet was just watching, probably thinking "I'm just doing what was asked of me, not my business if the girls are speaking out of turn".

Ah I see. I guess I have not payed enough attention to the order. (Would need to rewatch this.) They actually only circled "yes" or "no" I think - and then they only did this befor each girl's turn. (Not for all the girls at once before the confessions started.) Then this would work - as long as it is not enforced the always the correct one had to speak.

For the first one (traitor) ... that one speaks las tactually. And the dealer/observer just does not invervene ... since basically she still is giving the confessoin after the guys marked their card. Well for the 2nd to 4th it actually is "bugged" but somehow not against the rules as long as everyone answers and the boys mark the cards one by one - one before each confession. Certainyl some weird rules ... well I guess a lot of the anime (also the main anime) - is based on such loopholes.

Yeah damn, still difficult to understand 😂 I wasn't sure what Inui got out of it by being the traitor. She initially told everyone that she was a boyfriend, that was her goal, and she asked everyone what their goals were. This was so that she could employ the trick. But then in this episode, she states that she really wanted the money.. I didn't really get how that would have happened

Of course it was one of the two stranger girl that betrayed them, Saotome's strategy was risky but still managed to win this way, and everything is back to normal inside the main trio, that was great

Just wanted to say that this is a very good explanation, nice and compact and well-written.

It might be just my impression, but the games and the tricks in this series seem more confusing than in the main series... They don't have as much room to explain things as in the manga, and the occasionally rough translation only worsens things, too.

I'm feeling the same way, these games aren't really interesting. The dice game was easy to get but this one is still way over my head.

Lol, the dinner scene was awesome to watch XD I can feel Mary's satisfaction over her win while eating with the boys hahahah. But I think it would be pretty cool if Tsuzura really was the traitor and Mary lost again (though I don't know if it could work that way either or not) because honestly, I still feel strange to see an innocent and easy-to-cry character like Tsuzura in Kakegurui.

I finally get it after watching the episode again, the explanation people give really confused me, the boys have to choose which girl says yes to them, but the first girl that's supposed to write her confession is the traitor Inui (she gave the referee the lineup, with her being the first one to choose her confession but she sat herself last and also asked the referee to reveal her results last too to confuse the other girls) , the boys know which boy she will choose because she messaged them, the referee mittens girl doesn't tell the Gyaru girl that she shouldn't tell them her choice right then and there (Inui's turn, the boys are voting for girl number ONE aka Inui the traitor) because she wants mary to lose, this is why mary said the referee endorsed the trick. Gyaru thinks the boys have already chosen so there's no way to change their decisions and she taunts them by revealing her choice to get a reaction, this would all be avoided if the girls didn't tell the guys their options (where does it say that the girls have to tell the boys before referee mittens collects and says the results?). Now shy librarian girl chooses and reveals her confession to the boys, but they are voting for gyaru's choice (which she told them already), then Mary votes when it's shy librarian's turn, then Blue hair girl reveals her choice when it's mary's confession turn, that ends the confession phase, even if Mary and Blue Hair changed last minute they already revealed their choices so it doesn't matter. Boys got all of them right because Inui told the referee that she wanted to reveal her confession last, if she had been seated in Blue Hair's chair then Blue Hair's choice wouldn't have been revealed and it would be left up to chance. Round two happens, Mary isolates Blue Hair girl because she wanted to make Inui believe she trusted her, Mary this time controls the order because she explicitly asked for it (the first round strategy can't be used now), so Inui chooses to tell the boys the order the girls decided (except blue hair who was left isolated), but gyaru doesn't trust this time and changes her option, library girl changes it because mary told her to by the message before the match and blue hair chooses the fat guy because that's the riskiest gamble, same thing mary does, so the girls win except for Inui ofc. Hope this helped someone but I know it's a bit confusing
