No matter who the person is nor whoever made the lunch, no one has the right to thrash someone else's food. Some food may smelly funny but edible, so the rational action is to ask for confirmation before doing any action. And thrashing someone's lunch is just plain inhumane.

If I'm being honest Yuji got off easy in the beginning if he wasn't the chairman's friends grandson he probably would have gotten fired right there and then for throwing away his lunch and honestly it would have hiroto plenty of trouble having to work with him too.😂 But at least Yui made Keiichi another lunch for them to enjoy together.😊

Keichi apologies to Yui and her grandad about the bento, both of them forgive him saying it's not his fault but Yuiji's.
Extra: Because of this incident, Yui always give Keichi her homemade bento as appreciation. In fact, people in the company are fond of Keichi because he always works diligence, reliable and trustworthy, and helpful person. So this is why the chairman agreed Yui to date with Keichi. One day, Keichi said to the chairman. " Sir, I decided to marry Yui. Because she's kind and her homemade bento give me strength so please let me married her." The chairman said, " In fact, my granddaughter had told me about it, so please take care of my granddaughter." And so, Keichi married Yui. What about Yuiji? Well, let's just say he still work as a regular worker and he was not invited to the wedding.

You know for once, I found that this story wasn't like the others, where the bad guy was someone who was horrible, or anything... sure he made some bad choices and was jealous, but overall it seemed to be just normal things like
-throwing away the lunch, maybe shouldn't have, but it could be possible that it might've smelled bad.
-pushing for faster work... well anyone would be jealous at having someone who doesn't do the job normally do it so well, when that's your area
overall, while I didn't like the bad guy, I didn't hate him... he just happened to be the antagonist, for this, and just generally made some poor genuine mistakes, and he owned up to them

The bento almost had nothing to do with the rest of the story. The only thing it did was.... nothing. But sure didn't stop keichi from telling on him. Keichi again wants to totally ruin another person's life and he did. There is no way that this guy can get away with all the destruction that he does. And again, manages to get into the girl's pants. Kudos to the actors.

So, I understand Yuji being full of himself and that not being a good thing, but I also understand if Yuji feels jealousy towards Keiichi. Because, here's the thing, most people are not as talented and as intelligent as some other people are. I don't know how long Yuji and Keiichi have been in this line of work, but if they have both been in it for the same amount of time or Yuji has been in it longer than Keiichi, and Keiichi is the one excelling whereas Yuji isn't? I understand Yuji's frustrations, because how is it fair for someone else to excel in a job if they have been in the field for the same amount of time or shorter amount of time and the other person is still struggling.
