Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Global Partnerships (Finnish, Swedish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships or account management in the Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in Finnish and Swedish or any other Nordic language fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and solve complex problems
  • Passion for the News, Broadcasting and E-commerce industry

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will provide innovative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for partners and proactively identify new opportunities. Some of the publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our partner relationships. Our team helps grow Google's business with the online publishers and provides account management for users of AdSense, Google Ad Manager and more.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of publishing clients, adding value to our partners' business by proposing the optimal Google solution. 
  • Build trusted relationships with B-C level stakeholders within the organizations of our partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
  • Provide a responsive service to our partners, focusing on partners needs for mutual benefit.
  • Manage the medium sized portfolio of partners at scale by collaborating with our partner support and scaled marketing teams.
  • Build Joint Business Plans between Google and publishers to drive continued Partner Satisfaction and business growth.
